Another Anti-Rollbar Link question.......
I've got to replace the Anti-Rollbar Links & bushes.....
It all seems very easy to do BUT I've got one question -
What is holding the bush bracket on? It seems like a resin/glue - I've undone the nut and can move the bush, but don't want to pull too hard just in case anything breaks...
Any ideas?
Dan

Fisrt post, I just changed my anti roll bar link bushes yesterday for Powerflex ones (in nice purple colour). If you're just doing the link bushes then the roll bar doesn't have to come off.
Trouble with mine is that the new 2 piece bushes don't push all the way in to the link itself. There is a raised annuler ring (tech term)which I thought would have located in the link - it almost seems as if the bush is too wide for the link - altho' the metal insert isn't. Any idea's ?
Mind you the clunkings gone as the originals were knackered.
One other question - my rear anti roll bar is only 18mm diameter (93 WRX) so the 20mm bushes ain't going to be any good (didn't buy them)Do early cars have thinner a/r bars or have I got a GL in disguise!!!!
