Steering Wander
#1
I have noticed recently that my MY99 has tended to wander over undulating roads, especially truck tram lines etc.
The tyres are Pirelli Pzeros and are very low, due to be changed tomorrow!
You can feel the steering tugging quite alot especially at low speeds, this can be quite disconcerting. I drove a friends MY00 and his does not feel as bad..
Any suggestions???

Steering Wander? ...... Sounds more like Stevie Wonder!! judging by how much your car is moving around.
Sorry ... i'm just in one of those moods.
Change your boots to Bridgesone SO2 PP if you can get 'em or some Toyo Proxes T1-S's.
This should sort out your problems.
It is also evident with Scoobs that tyre pressures are critical for good handling. Have a play about with them and see how it feels.
Chris.

chris,
sounds like a problem commonly known as "tram-lining" !!
if you do a search on tramlining it will turn up lots of advice
