I did a search on this topic but couldn't find much worthwhile info on the quality of this suspension package. Is there anyone who could speak to the build quality, ride height adjustment range, harshness, etc. of these shocks?
thanks,
dave.

Hi mate, a friend of mine just had a car from Japan with these shocks it, he has now taken them off because the ride is so hard, also he has to keep filling them up with gas or they start to knock. Ideal shocks for racing But very hard for road use..

Well.... on a commercial scale we sell them.
They are good performers generally, better than OEM, 25% stiffer, height and rebound adjustable.
we have had no warranty or quality related complaints from our customers.
Top line suspension is not cheap, my car has DMS 50mm struts (competition stuff) and was over £2.5K.
DMS are currently launching a cheaper range (Gold Series) which should come in at around the £1.5K area.
Hope that has helped you?
Mike.

It helps indeed! I've driven on the DMS 50mm's before, and while that was definitely an impressive experience, I doubt that I'll be able to afford them any time soon. Dave Clark has been teasing us here in the US with the Gold's for a while now, but their price is still quite a jump from the Avo's...
From various enquiries I've culled the following about the Avo's:
- Coilover adjustment from stock ride height to 70mm under stock
- Adjustable rebound
- 300f/200r spring rates
Looks like a good alternative to TEIN HA's to me
