There has been a thread recently (possibly by Diablo) about a noise like this which was traced by his dealer as being a worn 'ball joint' I think from memory.

I have had lowered springs and Graham Goode brake conversion on my 1994 WRX (40,000 miles) and the car has developed a 'knocking' metallic sound when going over bumps and manholes? No effect on handling, but has anyone goit any ideas??
