I have the opportunity to buy a used OHLINS fully adjustable suspension for my Type-R VI.
I would like some feedback for this item and geometry to use considering that I have 17" whheels fitted.

Any reply appreciated.

Ohlins suspension is top quality kit, and very strong.

Geometry settings depend on what you want to do with the car. Lots of fast road/track use, then go for maximum negative camber, which may be as much as 3 degrees. Lots of normal town/motorway driving, then go for something a bit less extreme (1 - 1.5 degrees) on the front.

Most people have a small amount of toe-in (1mm) at the front to help stability under heavy braking, and there's a mix of people who say have 1mm toe in at the rear, or run the real parallel (zero toe).

As John say's, it is top notch product.......BUT, be very careful with second hand stuff. I believe that it's only available from Japan. This means that if it has a fault, and needs replacement parts, you have a major problem. Speak to Mike Tuckwood (Scoobymania) he had some on his last car.

Mark.
