WRX vs UK Suspension
What are the differences between WRX (93) and UK spec suspension. I am lead to believe that it is just the spring ratings (As apparently that's all that Prodrive change on the STI V for the P1 Settings).
This may seem to be the wrong way round for alot of you, but I am considering softening my WRX suspension, and wondered if fitting UK spec springs would do this.
The reason being that the raods in my area are particularly poor and the hard ride of the WRX tends to take your breath away on some of the bumpier bits.
If this is the case, has anyone got some UK spec springs kicking about in their garage anywhere....
Cheers

Scott.T,
you probably wont be interested buy Im changing out my STI4 springs for Eibach ones shortly (they are sitting in my garage). You have been in my car so you can judge if your suspension in harder. If you want them, they are yours.

It's got to be worth a try. If they end up not being suitable I'm sure I can find another person on the BBS that would releive me of them.
e-mail me when there ready to collect, and we'll arrange a rendervous.
P.S where did you get ya boost guage from ??

Scott,
they should be coming off this weekend. My sister has her own
Garage business so she will be having the springs fitted for me while I am
sitting in a Greek taverna ! I will be back by Wednesday so expect a mail by
then. My boost gauge was fitted by Lockyear motors in Horsham but was
sourced from GGR. Ask for the Lamco STI gauge and steering column pod. Best
one I have ever seen by miles and doesn't get in the way of the dash at all.
You may also want to check out their 3 piece front splitter too as I have
one fitted to my car and it makes it look miles meaner. Alot of money for 3
pieces of plastic mind you but imho well worth it.

I have a set of front springs for a UK MY98 car (and struts, but one of them is suspected to be faulty) sitting in my garage waiting to go to a good home.
They had done 16k miles before they were swapped out.
If anyone is interested, then they can have the lot for £15 (I was keeping them for spares, but need the space!).
