The P1 suspension setup is getting a good write up in the press for ride/handling compromise - something we all want. I have found out that the rear springs are standard WRX but the fronts are softer than WRX. Does anybody know what parts they use on the P1 or what the spring damper specs are?

Its not the sort of information they would be wanting to pass out, sorry. There are some compnaies in the US claiming to sell P1 suspension parts, but i doubt that, as they havent supplied all the cars yet ? It may be available as a pack later, but who knows.

Subaru dealers will at some point have access to the part numbers for the various suspension parts so that they can be ordered for accident repairs etc. I guess you would need a P1 chassis number to order them though.

Please remember that the suspension is only part of the package, with very specific set-up of camber/toe also specified, and designed to run on 17 inch wheels.

Can't remember if the anti-roll bars were changed as well ?

Also, the power distribution will vary between different models of Impreza, so fitting P1 suspension may not give you P1 handling !

it would be interesting to see what the prices of the parts worked out as though
