has anyone fitted billy's to a my95
because i have just got a set that is a set of inserts but they are different to std one
for one there is no hole in the strut casing for the locating stud of the billy and it different around the top where the nut is to tighten it to the strut casing .
any help please

I think you're describing the sealed KYB struts usually fitted as standard. You need to basically cannibalise these- i.e. drill a hole in the casing to release the pressurised oil ,cut the top off and remove the damper. Drill a hole in the centre of the bottom of the strut casing, insert the Bilstein then use a press to fit the brass retainer(hopefully supplied?) over the top, and voila you have a Bilstein strut.
Of course, if you perform this operation and find you preferred the previous damper arrangement or **** it up you're in the s**t 'cos there's no turning back.
