Suspension type?

Hi,
I need (well, want..) new suspension for the Scoob (MY96 UK 4-door). I know all about the Leda and Prodrive options but wanted opinions on other makes. You see people like Koni advertised but before I rushed out to buy I would like feedback.
I'm looking for an improvement over stock (!?) i.e. better damping control and probably stiffer springs.
Any information appreciated - I may well go the Leda route but want to do a mino-survey first.
Thanks
Dave
PS: and I've already got the wheels, brakes and AR bars sorted.

I've got the ALK (if you haven't got one - get one!), plus thicker rear AR bar (off MY97 car, plus Powerflex bushes. I want to do the AR bar drop links soon but my suspension is knackered. It's not a question of just wanting better suspension - the units I have now are knacked.

Hi Dave,
Why don't you just by a nearly-new set from someone who is upgrading to LEDA? If you speak to Pete Croney @ ScoobySport he should be able to sort you out - he charged someone GBP350 for the spanking new set from my STi4, including springs, so it's a lot cheaper than any of the upgrade solutions.

Dave,
It may be worth dropping Whiteline an e-mail and see what they say...
If you do track days you would probably want adjustable dampers...
Is ride quality an issue to you ? This could influence your choice as well...
Thanks
Gavin
BTW, I've just been watching a program on cable about rallying in Canada. Lots of Imprezas - with a couple running Ohlins suspension which is supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread. Does anyone have this on their car and what do they think ?

Andy,
I had mine fitted at the same time as four new tyres, rear sway bar links and wheel alignment. The garage "Tyres Northampton" did a first class job.
Although I can't answer the question - This is probably worthy of posting as a separate thread..?
If you can, fit the rear sway bar links as well - relatively inexpensive and make the handling much more predictable.
Thanks
