Suspension Creak
#1
My 94 WRX has developed a 'creaking' noise from the front susepension area. This creaking is only evident on a morning and is most pronounced when going over speed bumps (slowly of course!)in my area. The noise dissapears after a few miles and only comes back the following morning. Even after being left for a few hours in a car park.
Is this just a stiction problem or the signs of impending damper failure?
Will this be an easy fix or that complete Leda upgrade I've had my eye on (the wife will be pleased!). The car appears to handle just as well and no other problems are evident at the moment.
Help and guidance appreciated guys.
Regards to all...

Alan, it could be "dry" suspension bushes. The rear mount for the wishbone has a large washer between the nut and bush (about 2 inches diameter)and these can rub slightly hence the creak. It took me ages to sort mine out on MY93 WRX. Don't use ordinary grease as it rots the rubber, use stuff that is not detrimental to the bushes (can't remember the name of it, sorry)
