Suspension too hard...

I have an STI2. The suspension on it is very hard. Anybody else have the same setup.
Just wondering if it was standard and what the solutions are too 'soften' it without messing up any of the handling...

It would help to know if the suspension is standard, or uprated. It's not uncommon for cars to come in from Japan with various uprated parts fitted.
Get someone to have a look, and identify what's on it first. Then at least you will know your starting point.

I too have an STI with non standard Eibach springs on it and the ride is bone shaking.
I am fairly sure that STI know a thing or two about suspension and wonder why people bothering changing just the springs, it must be simply cosmetic. Luckily I have the original STI springs which I am considering putting back on. Does anyone know how much work is involved in changing them, i.e time/cost.
Also is there anyone in the Dorset area with an STI with the standard springs that wouldn't mind taking me for a quick spin so I can feel what it is going to be like. I don't think it will make that much difference but it would be nice to find out.

When I first got my WRX RA it had GAB Gymkhana (sp?) springs and dampers on it. even set on the softest setting it was still rock hard.
I replaced it with STI 4 springs/dampers (thanks to Mr. Firefox!) which is much better.
I changed it all myself and it only took a two hours.
