I am currently running 1.2 deg. neg camber on front suspension. I am ordering the anti-lift kit, which gives up to 1 deg. positive dynamic castor. In theory i should be able to let up on the amount of neg. camber I am running.
Has anybody that has fitted these reduced neg. camber, and if so what settings did you use?
Thanks for any info,

Mark

Hi Mark..

I got the AL kit from MRT, I never adjusted the chamber...

I cant remember what I set my suspension upto... I have done Donington... and got perfect wear.. no inner or outer wear.... equal wear under road use too..

I'll find out tomorrow for you...

Mark
mrt suggest the following geom settings for the anti lift kit
front
.75degrees negative camber
0 toe
rear
even camber
1.5 mm toe out per side
obviously this is just a starting point you will have to go on from there to find your ideal setting for your driving i think it comes down to what you feel comfortable with.
what did you set yours up to j.By the way j did you get your turbo done.

Howdy..

It never arrived.. It was an off-chance it would.. but it will be here Monday.

I have recovered all (3 off) broken blade pieces... they were down at the I/C..

So no stripping the engine...saves me a job *there goes my excuse to fit new internals* lol

Cheers J, I'll check the posts tomorrow. I ordered mine from Ben at scoobymania. 120ukp, which is far cheaper than I've seen any of the other UK companies selling it for. get your orders in,!!

With the risk of being flamed for questioning proffessional setups I dare to disagree with MRT's toe setting for the rear.
Toe out will increase turn in, but the downside is that the tendency to oversteer will increase. So will instability under breaking. AS soon as my suspension goods are installed I'll do a 4 wheel alignment. My targets will be max castor, camber -1 to -1,25 all round and 0 toe front and rear.

Now, where have I left the flamesuit?:-)

Nico, I'd be interested to hear other people's comments on rear toe. I had my suspension set up at Scole Engineering in Noefolk, and the owner Vince is very knowledgeable on suspension. I showed him the Prodrive settings and he done the old 'Trust me , I'm a doctor'bit, disregarded those, and put what he thought would work best. He said I could come back and he would change if if i did'nt like the set-up. He put about 1.2 neg camber on front, not sure what toe is in front, but he also disagreed with toe out at the back. It's set at parallel. The car feels very stable and neutral and I haven't felt the need to go back and alter anything.
