Avo Suspension any good?
#3
Well I know someone who's got it on a Cavalier GSI and it's supposed to be pretty good. Certainly better than the usual Jamex/Koni/whatever stuff you see on "those" sort of cars. Can't say about Imprezas though...

I can't comment on AVO vs Leda, but here's what I can say about AVO:
Bill Young (Falkirk, Scotland) has AVOs (adjustable damping & ride height) fitted to his MY99 5-dr and can't stop raving about them... Bill - care to comment.
I fitted fixed platform AVOs to my last car (R5 GTT) and can say they were the best available at the time. Much improved road holding (an unstoppable gokart!) with very little trade off against ride comfort. I went through standard, Spax, Bilstein, and Koni before settling with AVO -- definately worth the money. I've even recently changed the shockers on my wife's Mini Cooper S5 from Spax Sports to AVO... what a difference!
If I had some money to put towards new suspension for my scooby I'd consider AVO to be a serious contender against Leda.
