04 WRX Springs
#1
Cheers all,
I have an 04 US WRX wagon. I haven't been able to find anyone with 04 spring specs yet. I have called Eibach, Tanabe, etc, and no one has them out yet. Any suggestions? I want a 1.5" drop or so, with mildly stiffer than factory ride. I am planning on keeping the factory struts, and don't want that annoying bounce either. Suggestions?
Also, does anyone run Anthracite colored Prodrive P7s on a Silver WRX? I would like to see a pic if you have one.
Thanks

New Prodrive springs may be, made by Eibach?
Is the best solution for you except they lower the car about 2-2,5cm probably more if the USA WRX04 sits higher from Euro spec WRXs as have heard.

Jim,
Thanks for the reply. Are the Prodrive (made by Eibach) drops and rates different from the Eibach units? I actually like a lower look, but don't want to sacrifice ANY performance to get it. Do the Prodrive springs work well with stock struts? Good ride quality but stiffer when it counts?

I have not tried them yet but I am going to buy a set soon.
From others opinion are much better from Eibachs, about 20% stiffer from standard springs (they don't "wear" factory shocks) and don't affect ride quality at all, with one word the best compromise if you don't want to spend lots of money on coilovers etc:
