eibachs springs - which way around ?

I've got some second hand eibachs and they're getting fitted next monday (29th).
Obviously there are 4 springs; two rear and two front. which set is for what ? ie one pair is shorter than the other
I'm sure the guy fitting them will know, but i'd like to reasure him/myself when i drop the car off on monday.

The guy who does the maintenence on my Scoob, works at a Dealership and put the Springs on my Sport the wrong way round. I found this out at TSL when in for geometry set up. Common mistake I was told. Go for short springs on the front these are progresive long on the back.
