Any idea what the difference might be ?? (apart from the colour hehe)

I have the Prodrive devolped Eibach spring for a my01 which are blue. I think the standard Eibach springs from third partie retailers are black. Not sure if this is the only reason, but is one of them.

Thats what I thought it might be, thanks for the reply

Main reason for asking was they seem to have dropped the car more than the 20mm (on a wrx) than I was expecting

Which versions are you on?. My blue springs dropped the car 15-20mm. Seams more noticable on the front.
