Running a MY97 GTT with Leda's,ALK, 22mm Rear ARB,Strutbars F&R.
Toe-in front 0.5 , Camber -2.0 , Rear Toe in 0.0 , Camber -0.75
I'm using it mainly for driving trackdays and with this set-up I have a nicely controlable quick allrounder
However as I use it for trackdays only....I suggest that the front camber can be set to e.g. -3.0 upto -5.0 and rear camber up to -1.5 or -2.0 and dial in a little toe-in for in-corner balance or perhaps a bit toe-out both front and rear for better turn-in ?
What are your recommendations and experiences ???
(For those who don't want to wake up their competitors....Send me a mail )
ps Anyone interested in driving at 'Zolder' in Belgium one day ?
Trackday experience (morning program) for newbie's cost around 150 Euro (2.5 hours driving , 1.5 h theory)
Free driving between 14h and 18h / 40 euro/h , 140 euro/4h.
Toe-in front 0.5 , Camber -2.0 , Rear Toe in 0.0 , Camber -0.75

I run -4.5 front and -3->3.5 rear camber, and 1mm toe out per side at front, plus same at rear but toe in.
IMO, this provides for very stable handling (I also run kw3, uprated front/rear ARB's, ALK and Quaife front diff), especially in the wet.
However, I'm going to play more with the toe to try and make the car more tuneable on the limit - will start with 0 front and rear just to see what impact it has.
I'm not sure my experiences are that relevant to an open front diffed car though - I have a lot of traction at the front, which is both good and bad (v.easy to overheat front tyres).
My next serious mod will be a different torque split front to rear to reduce stresses on the front end on corner exits
Richard
PS: I'd definitely be up for a day at Zolder next year - but can we just book the track for the day and have free driving? I could probably round up 4 or 5 people from CH
