Is this a suspension/Alignment Issue?
#1
Hi ppl
I have a MY97 UK Wagon, you might have seen ito on the For Sale section but have changed my mind and keeping as a second car.
I have had the car abouth 4 months now and it has been great, as i have got more confident and used to the power and 4 wheel drive I am pushing it harder round bends and corners.
As i am a newbie and never owned a scooby before i'm not sure how they are supposed to handle apart from being good. Round small sharp bends it is excellent, and i can really power out of a roundabout. However, round long fast bends it seems to be very twitchy and i get a very uncomfortable floating effect. Is this normal?
It has got Eibach springs fitted by previous owners, but I dnt know if the wheels have been aligned when they were fitted, could this be why?
Any info wud be appreciated.
Regards
Ray

Firstly you need to be sure all your Suspension joints are good (no wobbly ball joints) Then you need to be sure the Alignment is good. A Thrust Angle or Toe Out on the Rear Wheels could make it very exciting around long fast bends.

Had the alignment and Bumpsteer done at PS and believe, you WON'T be disappointed. It will transform the cars handling.
Scoobies are terrible for understeer and now your probably reaching the limits of the suspension.
