Will STi4 MY98 suspension fit a MY94 JDM wagon?

Hi all
Any one know if a MY94 wagon, JDM, can fit( with no / very small mods ) the MY98 STi4 suspension?
Is this the inverted strut type or the normal type, and any problems with the steel wishbonesinstead of the alloy STi ones?
