Geometry after Bumpsteer Mod
#1
Some **** forced me up a curb last week and consiquently the tracking on my front left is way out
The problem being I dont have the time for several weeks to get up to powerstation to get the geometry corrected, thus the question is can I get reasonable results if I just get someone local to do the tracking for now until I can get up to powerstation or would the geometry be the same regardless of the bumpstear mod, thus no need to whip up to powerstation until next service ???

The question is really whether, getting the tracking done else where than powerstation after the bumpstear mod is going to cause any problems.
Im in Frome, Somerset which isnt a million miles away from powerstation, but far enough to be a day off work which is out the question for the next few weeks.

Once the bumpsteer reduction shims have been fitted, there is no further specialist requirement for future alignment. You can take the car to your nearest halfway competent alignment outfit with digital alignment equipment.
I have used ProTyre in Bristol before and they did a very good job. You may also prefer to visit Micheldever in hampshire, they have had many recommendations on scoobynet in the past. There are, no doubt, other digital alignment equiped outfits closer to you.
Protyre in Bristol would be 24miles, Micheldever is ~53miles and powerstation is 70+miles from you. I guess you may find someone who could recommend outfits closer to you, maybe in Bath.
