Guy with noisy links uses teflon.

My father in law always swore by this sort of spray on the sail slides on his yacht. (Not sure what they are really called )

He said that he has never found any in England though
If there is a teflon spray product in England, I'd like to know about it!!

You used to be able to buy a spray called GT85, which had teflon in it. It was marketed as a penetrating oil type thing, but was much better. It did penetrate, and than evaporated. leaving a teflon coating. Wasn't dear, either.
