I am going to lower the car, but i have been told that i should get the bumpsteer mod done too, but what does the bumpsteer mod do exactly and is it worth doing ?

I have both on mine. Very worth while. Try search for more answers than you can read.

ok read up as much as i can on it.

Main thing that worrys me is uneven tyre wear after ive lowered the car on 17s, aslong as the tyres dont wear on the insides im happy at the moment with the handling.

Will bumpsteer reduce tyre wear, or will the geometry setup be fine for this purpose.

Bump Steer Mod will have no effect on the tyre wear as it goes hand in hand with proper Geometry setup. Tyre wear will be dependant on what Geom settings you go for.....(and the Powerstation "Fast Road" settings use 1 degree of negative camber which doesn't seem to adversely effect tyre wear at all)
