I have a STi8 PPP, and have noticed the car tends to understeer when pushed hard into corners, the car sorts itself out pretty quickly, but you lose a little confidence, when you turn in, and you have to wait for it to respond,
sooo,
What is the best way to correct this?
Has anyone already done something about it with positive results,
Will the 18' Wheels help,
What about a front strut brace??
Thanks in advance

Have you had the tracking checked? It may be out slightly: A well known problem when cars come from dealers. Try changing the tracking to 0.7 degrees toe-in on the front and 0.25 on the rear. This should dial out some of the understeer but not do too much to make it tail happy.

I was a little concerned to see 0.7 degrees Toe In. Do you mean 0.07 degrees, because 0.7 degrees is 4.5mm approx which sounds alot to me. Understeer can be controlled in several ways. By balancing the Camber Angles Front and Rear. You can experiment with adusting the Rear Toe. Favorite for a Scooby is to increase the Caster, which will also give additional straight line stability.

As the others have said, get your geometry done at TSL or Powerstation, and while you are there, get rear antiroll bar and droplinks done, and a front strut brace.
Then get the Prodrive eibach springs when they are ready.
Job done!!!

As others have said get a full 4 wheel alignment done at either Powerstation or TSL. There is a lot more to handling/understeer than just the toe so get yourself down there (I recommend the 1.5 degress of negative camber by the way )
