It depends how you use the car. Sorry, don't know any figures but obviously 60k motorway miles at fairly constant speed on flat roads will put a hell of a lot less ware on the springs/dampers than even half that (or less) on a bumpy country lane at varying speeds.

Yeah, it really depends on how you use the car, and also what your expectations are. As an example, I once had a Honda tuner tell me that while the stock struts would go 100k miles for "your everyday Joe", from a performance enthusiast standpoint they were pretty well gone at 24k. My '02 US WRX's struts were just fine for most people when I changed them out at 25k miles, but I could definitely feel them loosening up significantly.
