OK hear this, I want to copy the suspension on my MY99 Turbo.
I now know that the stabilizers are the same. But what about the springs and dampers. Should I keep the dampers and use eibach springs or STI dampers or something else.
Please do not recommend me Leda or other expensive stuff. I just want to know what sort of springs and dampers are the closest to the P1 settings...

I have P1 suspension on my MY00. It's hard as hell, are you sure you want to stick that on your car?
if you do i suggest you try to buy some P1 suspension or some STI5/6 will be similar.

I may be worng, but isn't a bit more complicated than just damnpers/springs. Doesn't the P1 use solid drop links, stiffer/thicker sway bars and alloy wishbones?

As far as I know, and I've read a couple of books that are Subaru related. The suspension is : EuroType anti-rollbars, bespoke springs (from Eibach) and custom-made dampers, I think they are the STIV dampers as I find out by reading the whole book.
It's possible that this is wrong but the book from Chris Rees, Subaru Impreza Turbo Story, contains specs from every car and model of the Impreza Range.
Also EVO magazine has spent an article on this one (P1) and they're saying the same about the suspension...
I was also thinking of placing dampers from a WRX on my GT, as the WRX is heavier and thus harder damped...

AFAIK P1's use STI 5 dampers & rear springs and custom Eibach front springs (softer & lower than the STI). Other differences over a MY99 are steel front drop links, alloy wishbones and different wheels/offset.
