Question

Leda B

Ride height on OSR seems to have "dropped" by about 15-20mm over the course of time - only really noticed the other day

I've checked the top mount & that seems OK, is there anything else it could be?

I'm guessing the ride height adjuster has "crept" over time if there isn't another obvious candidate - anyone know/heard of this happening before?

I only had one spanner with my set of shocks (second hand) but got another last time I went to leda for geometry. 2 spanners means getting them done up a bit proper.

Other option would be some 222 loctite, non-permanent (soft) thread lock

Thumbs up

Well..

The truth is a bit stranger than I first posted BUT

I had PTMW! up the other day & I saw that one of my springs was broken

Down to Leda today & the great chaps down there had the car up in the air & rear suspension stripped in no time flat

The OSR spring had dis-intergrated into 6 pieces, obvious metal fatigue IMHO, so it was off with the old & on with new springs (the other side was done as well ) + rods 'cos one was pitted & after about 2 hrs it was all sorted That includes a full rear rebuild

PTMW! now rides a bit higher ( ) but the actual ride is ++++++ times better Bit more roll noticable & I'll need to get the geometry re-set but already much better

Gotta say that the service today was top notch You pay more for the basic kit but the knowledge & backup that goes into keeping it at its optimum is 1st class - many thanks guys

Besides, with your average piece of suspension, it gets old, you bin it - with Leda, you rebuild it
