Anybody Heard Of "Kgcm cubed" suspension?

I've just looked at my suspension and it has bright blue shocks and springs/cups with "kg cm" chrome badges on them. They are not adjustable but feel quite hard. Has anybody heard of them...are they any good??

dunno about a make of suspension but if it had a number in front of the kg/cm then it's the stiffness rating, i.e. it takes x amount of kgs to compress the spring by 1cm

No its definately the brand name of suspension mate, its obviously not too good if nobody has heard of it.....maybe its Japanese SPAX!!!!!!!!

They're a Jap brand. I seem to remember my brother had springs from them on one of his cars at some point. Can't comment any further

Is it possible that "kg/mm" may be the name? If so, they are quite big, and have a broad range of products AFAIK. They do springs and dampers individually, as well as in kits. Some are fixed rate, some are adjustable...

Thanks for the advice guys, don't suppose anyone can translate for me!!!!! At least I know they are good equipment, just wanted to know if they were ok to use on road...they are pretty hard!!!!

that's more up to you m8 - if they are too stiff for you, you could probably pick up some other stuff off the board...

perhaps someone with a more std car nearby will be nice enough to offer you a ride to compare notes.
