Had the anti lift kit (my99) along with eibachs, bump steer and new tyres about 150 miles ago. Much better.

I had been noticing a pronounced NVH at thr front end at low speeds over potholes etc, which i understand is probably due to the ALK.
However today I went down a very bumpy dirt track, and whilst i took it very slowly i.e. 5-10mph, and didn't bottom any suspension out, I could feel it giving the suspension a very good workout.

Since then however, the front end seems to have lost almost all NVH that it had before. I've only had a 15 mile drive since the bumpy track (in the wet), and I don't seem to be getting increased lift - the front end still feels planted, but more compliant without the NVH.

Could it be the new tyres becoming more compliant in the wet? Could bumps have bedded my eibachs in, or have i lost my ALK?

The ALK lift is made of very hard Polyurethane, when you give that a real workout, its get twisted inside de Lift kit and become a little stretched.
You can also milder the NVH by spraying a non silicone grease on it from time to time..

It's the yellow thing inside the ALK. I try to say that it can flex and so when driving on bumpy roads. My English is not very good. But the point is that when the front suspension is working hard, the bushes in the ALK are also working hard, and afterwards its easier for the polyurethane to follow the suspension movement...
