Suspension Gurus - Help Please
#1
I would like some help to identify whether getting the Geometry "done" will help with my ikkle problem
I have an 02 WRX UK with 5500 miles on the clock. I travel about 300 miles per week approx 230 on m/way & dual carriages. Both my front tyres have more wear on the inside than the o/side. Due to the nature of most of my driving I don't need the optimum handling set up, but am seeking more even tyre wear.
So, 1) what settings should I go for?
and 2) where in Nottm / Derby should I go?
Thanks

It sounds like a car with too much neg camber. BUT, if you don't have the grip in the first place (icy, cold and wet roads) you don't generate enough tyre roll to get the tyre contact patch flat on the road.
Also as Claudius points out, you might be running with loads of toe in or something and it's killing the tyres on the straight bits.
Higher tyre pressures might help too, as you might get a little more tyre grip. It will increase the pressure on the centre of the tyre too which might help spread the load more evenly.
