Read Damian Harty's reply in the Prodrive questions thread

As for the rear brace it fits across the rear suspension towers (under the rear shelf) If you look right up above the wheel arch, there is an oval hole in the structure. That's where the bar passes through the boot!

There is a great range of front braces available. From OMP and Sparco ones for £40'ish to Cusco ones for £170+

Rars are a little more difficult to source. Have a look at a Demon tweeks catalogue

instead of a rear strut brace how about a thicker anti roll bar i have one fitted to my scoob and it has definatly cured the twitchyness of high speed bends

also it dosn`t get in the way in the boot as it is underneath

XSoob, the ARB solves (or makes an improvement to) a specific problem whereas strut braces make the car stiffer which is not the same thing.

IMHO, on an old shape Scoob, it's worth doing both braces (including upper and lower front and rear) and rear ARB.

Thumbs up

Got both my Whiteline ones from Jamie at JW Racing (who has a banner on this board).

Highly recommended, especially the rear (although mine's a wagon therefore the effect is greater than in a saloon). The rear one needs to be ordered (unless Jamie ordered more than just my one), so could take 6 weeks or so, but do the job nicely.
