Question

I've had a full 4-wheel alignment offered locally by Laserline (??) equipment for £30, or £40 if they have to make any adjustments. Both prices VAT inclusive.
They also said they'd put in my choice of settings if I wanted, and the guy seemed to know what the Prodrive settings were all about.
Now my question is, why is it so cheap compared to TSL/Powerstation?

Question

£40 is a cracking price if it is the whole job. By alignment some people mean front and rear toe-in, others mean that and front and rear camber (and sometimes castor). Which have they quoted for you?

The Prodrive settings include both toe-in and camber (see the SIDC website for details (section 4.5.2)).

In addition if your car is the "classic shape" you should consider the "bumpsteer" mod from somewhere like Powerstation. It is not a small amount of money, but gets very good reviews.

Hope that helps.
