KW Suspension Question
#1
dowser, sorry for the late reply.
It is variant 2, which is is supposed to be rebound and height adjustable (35-65mm).
KW have only made the kit rebound adjustable at the front, altho it is still height adjustable front and rear.
I just wanted to know if it was worth paying the extra for var2, over var1, if it can only be ajdusted for rebound at the front, and not the back.
Cheers. Mole

Im thinking of getting a full suspension kit for my Polo! () and needed to ask some questions first.
I spoke to my dad about it who said if im keeping the car for a reasonable amount of time then I might as well go for height AND ride adjustment.
Since then, I have spoken to the importers who say that it is now only ride adjustable at the front, NOT the back. Is this any good, having the backend as it comes, and the front end adjustable? Is it worth paying the extra for?

What version of KW? The Variant 3 is coil-over and includes ride height, bump and rebound adjustments. Wouldn't be a lot of point just providing this at one end. I'd guess you have one of the other variants. Go to www.kw-gmbh.de and check, they have their stuff in English too (note: pricing is available from German version ).

Sounds a bit suspect to me - are you getting it from the UK KW importer? Maybe try giving them a ring for confirmation if not, I can't imagine why anyone would offer a package which only had bump/rebound adjustment at one end....even if most Scoob 4 door drivers never bother adjusting theirs, it's easy on my 5 door

Yeh I e-mailed KW and asked where to buy their stuff in the UK and they gave me an e-mail address for Motorsport International Online.
I'll give them a ring to find out more I think.
Thanks.
