What is the difference between standard UK dampers and WRX dampers on MY96 and similar Scoobs? (If any)

I know the STI was quite a lot harder.

Thanks

Anyone?

It would be nice to know.
(or is it so obvious that I'm being silly?)

From what i can gather, and read, the dampers on MY92-96 UK and WRX are the same, the slightly harder ride and 5mm or so ride height difference comes from the springs. Which are not the same. STi dampers are obviously different and quite a bit firmer.

Hope that helps a bit,

Tony.

My car had STi/Prodrive bilstien's on the front and it was well glued to the road. Only problem is on some bumpy roads you find they're a little harsh. Real solid feel to them, bump steer is evident too.

Thanks. I think I may need dampers on the front, and I'm already using WRX springs on my UK, so I wondered if I should be looking for WRX or UK dampers.

Guess it's whatever is cheapest now

Unless I find a P1 or STI setup going cheap
May just settle for eibachs
