Getting the suspension settings done right.
#1
Been trying, all round this area, to get SOMEONE to do a full alignment job on my '98 turbo, putting on the settings I got from a thread on here. I think the ones I have are called the Prodrive settings.
Problem: no-one can do it. Either they don't have a proper 4wheel alignment set-up, or they do, and it works off a computer, which won't give them access as they don't have the Subaru disc.
My nearest usable Subaru dealer is 55 miles, or there's TSL about 70 miles, and they want £110 to do it, whereas I was quoted £60 on here "at any reputable tyre/wheel place." doh!
Anyone know anywhere near Scunny, N.Lincs?? Anyone at all????

What do they want 'a subaru disc' for? If you've given them the settings you require they dial it all in and use the computer to measure....no disc required

Well, I went into that: the service guy went and asked the w/shop foreman, and he said that without the "proper disc" they couldn't/wouldn't even start doing it.
