Can anyone help me with the following

On full lock when i move the car makes a loud grinding noise.I have had a look underneath the car to see what is hitting but cant see anything.I have recently had the four pot Godspeed kit on the car and the track rod ends seem close to the discs but dont actually touch and there is no scoring of any kind on the discs so i dont think it can be the brakes but im no mechanic and the reason why I am pannicking is that I go away on my hols in the car tomorrow. Is this a usual fault with one of the parts on my car,any help would be much apreciated.

ROY.

Sorry if you've already checked this...

Have you looked at the power steering fluid level?
It does sound a bit like a grinding noise if this is low.

Other than that, I found that sometimes the metal bits of my mud flaps rubbed on the tires. (No more metal bits now - and no more problem)

Good luck. It took quite a while to find the grinding on mine. Hope you do better than I did.

Check that the brake lines are not fouling the wheel.

Have you re-fitted the curly spring clips between the retaining pins pins.

Tried re-fitting mine the other day and they foul on the wheel balance weights stuck on the inside of the wheel (that's on the 335mm Godspeed kit)

Does it happen when turning both ways? Or only when turning left? If left only, your exhaust might be touching your steering column.
