Simply put, it is a set of bushes and mounts which change the pick up points of the rear end of the lower front suspension arms. The ALK K increases the caster which will in turn increase the "steer to center" thus the weight of the steering, and will "resist lift" of the suspension.

The on the road improvements are that when you are powering out of a corner, the weight transfer that is induced produces less lift of the front suspension and so you get more grip at this point. So what you will feel is less, power on understeer on the exit of corners.

Also, due to the harder bushes used, you get much more steering feel (which IMHO, is a good thing )
