Hi,

I have got a set of struts and springs from an STI5 4-door. The suspension on my98 UK is getting a tad baggy, and so I'll be fitting them to it.

I have a couple of questions though...

1) any comments regarding alternative springs to use with these dampers? Prodrive, eibach H&R or others?

I have read that the spring rates fitted to JDM Sti5s may be a bit too hard. I need to maintain both reasonable ground clearence and reasonable ride quality, so can't drop ride height more than 10-15mm.

2) What size anti roll bars are fitted to the STI5 and MY98 UK?.

3) Best settings for toe and camber with all of this fitted.

Thanks in advance for the info, and any other advice.

Cheers,

Alex

Just a thought...

<beg mode!>

I think I have a leaky damper on the front of my MY97 UK. Are you considering parting with your old dampers, or are they completely wrecked?

i have recently fitted sti springs and shocks to my uk97, definite improvement in handling and i don't think there is much difference in ride quality, also had the prodrive settings done.
the car seems more confident round the twisty stuff now
not sure if the shockers are any different as i checked the part numbers and they seemed to be the same.
