Been offered a brand new kit at decent money and was wondering whether they were any better than the Bilstein Coilover kit?

Appreciate your views etc.

Hi Phil.

No experience with these myself, but just thought I'd let you know that the H&R doesn't have rebound adjustment. The valving is fixed, only ride height adjustable. The spring rates are rather high, but apparently with very well matched dampers, so people say they're not as uncomfortable as one would think.

I considered these, but went for AVO instead due to lower price, shorter delivery time and damper adjustability.

- But Phil, what happened to the P1 suspension we had an agreement on? You suddenly 'disappeared' and stopped responding my emails...?

Simen

I spent three weeks in hospital with a glandular viral infection and I was off work for neally 9 weeks. I wasn't ignoring you on purpose but didn't get the opportunity to respond.

I am sorry to let you down but I suppose I had other things on my mind, glad to see you got sorted.

Thanks for the info.

Cheers

Phil

Oh....!
Very sorry to hear. I was in fact worried about that, as I knew you had been ill. Hope you've recovered now

I actually only ordered the AVOs a couple of hours ago, and I'm now waiting for order confirmation from TSL-Motorsport!

I obviously had to do some research as the P1's didn't materialise

See also the other thread in "Suspension" concerning H&R and Bilstein shock absorbers. For two months now I have got the Bilsteins for my MY99. The control mechanism for the damping looks identical to the H&R's I did see a couple of years ago when I worked for WP Suspension.
