Default Front Drop Link/ARB Touching Lower Arm

Hi

I have an issue where the front ARB drop links touch the lower arms on my 'classic'
I initially thought it was the drop links themselves or the ARB bushes, so i have replace both but the issue is still there.
I then changed the setting to the hard option as i have an adjustable ARB but that makes the ARB knock against the lower arm too.
Although the ARB is 15 years old, could this be the problem ??

Any help much appreciated.

Sorry mate don't have the answer but lets go over some of the basics

Was the ARB on the car when you bought it?
If not has it only started doing this recently?

Might be the wrong ARB or components but thats just a wild estimate from me

Hi NOSSY 89

ARB on the car when i bought it 2 years ago. knock only appeared recently and when it went for mot it was noticed.
When i 1st had the knock i fitted some new Whiteline bushes and drop links.
Which were only torqued up once on the ground.
Although the ARB is rusty as (15yrs old) i'm thinking is it that that can cause it
I've removed it from the car as it was driving me mad,
Appreciate you replying.

I'm thinking if it had moved so much due to rust it would be a MOT failure

Hi Stockcar

It has the steel arms, definatly the correct links.
I even removed the links and refitted just in case.

Thanks
