Default Rear strut brace

has anyone fitted a rear strut brace before ?. If so, did the boot carpet need modification after fitment ?, as I’m looking at a japspeed one for my 2008 wrx.

is yours carpet or the hard board ? I keep stuff under my hard board "carpet" and most definitely would hate not being able to take it in and out. I spied ones on ebay that sit up high but were expensive.

mines the hardboard mate. I like the idea of a rear strut brace but not sure I’d wanna cut into the hardboard if I can help it.
