Default Rear knocking noise help

Hey guys

Need some help please, rear suspension on my 2005 uk spec sti blobeye
has knocking noise when slowly moving forward or reversing & tyres have worn on inner edge
car has hks coilovers fitted
today i jacked one side & when I move wheel up/down I can hear the knocking noise
Coming from the strut does this mean it's the top mounts ?
all other bushes/links seem ok

Is there any movement in the wheel itself? It may be a wheel bearing, mine were knocking when reversing, thought it was the diff making the noise, ended up writing off the rear hub assembly before realising it was a wheel bearing.

wheel has no movement from what I can tell
can only hear knocking from suspension strut
when I move wheel up/down
