Default Replacing Rotted Rear Subframe_Help!?

Hi, newbie here.
Got a super deal on a 2001 LL Bean Outback to replace my 98 slightly smashed Outback Limited.
The LL Bean is in excellent condition except for one small detail; the rear sub-frame has rotted away completely.
To keep the long story short, found a solid subframe pulled from an 05 Outback and have almost completed install.

Was hoping someone here could save me the additional agony of fighting to line up the lateral links, or forward mounts to chassis.
I raised the entire subframe, basically the entire rear suspension as a whole and it lined up perfect to the 4 main bolts . Did not tighten all the way but all 4 bushings are seated. Now the forward links are not close enough to secure to chassis.
Question, do I have to drop it all back down and attach the forward arms first then line up the 4 main sub frame bolts? Or should I unbolt the bushing from the lateral link to allow the mount to line up to holes?
Or, should I just light the whole thing on fire and call it a day?

Thanks in advance, heard this is the place to go for Subbie tech.
