Hi all,

I have just bought a 2005 Forester 2.5 XT with Prodrive Performance Pack. Some previous owner has lowered the suspension however I am unsure as to what he used. I know he has fitted Pedders lowering springs to the front but no idea on the rears. I can see the SLS struts have been removed but would like to know if they have been replaced with Forester or WRX type struts and what springs. The rear struts have a red sticker that says KYB Excel G if that helps. I have attached some pics of the struts and springs along with an outside pic to show ho low it sits. Any help would be great. Springs could be from Springcoil.

Look through these threads on Subaruforester.org as UK members (europe forum) had springs made especially to replace the SLS rears................

Thanks for the reply Don. I will check out the link to try identify springs but I am more interested in what struts they are. Do you know how I can tell if they are Forester or Impreza ?

 

Would have thought the part numbers will be stamped on the strut somewhere.
