Koni Coilover settings - W.H.Y?

The 24pt adjustables are fitted to the STI4 TypeR I have just bought and want to tune them to a better setting. At present the steering does not not stiffen progessively enough as I turn in.
Does anyone have a preferred setting they would like to share?, as a starting point.
Im looking for a fairly neutral set-up to start with although I do prefer a slighly 'pointy' car.
The car has the bump steer mod, so I dont want to play with the ride height if I can help it (althought I think the front needs more weight) and im not worried about hard settings.
