just wondering if there anygood for an 05 widetrack or are they to be avoided?car is a daily but not covering massive miles.currently on red prodrive springs and 17" wheels.looking to decrease the arch gap slightly with out completely ruining the handling and not looking to go down the coilover route again.if thats a no go then bigger wheels maybe an option.cheers,ryan.
Hi Ryan I'd stick to the prodrive springs and drivability would be effected with the teins I've got coilover teins on mine when I got it and to be honest I'm looking about for a full set of shocks on the cheap when I can all depends on weather you want looks or better drive and only you can decide what's right for your car

thanks for the reply,i had tein coilovers with the electronic dampening on my evo.i found them quite a hard, bumpy ride.car felt very planted tho when i gave it some.i like how the car drives, handles etc now.and although its only a small issue im not a big fan of how it sits on the 17's.my options were to drop it down or put bigger wheels on.ive read conflicting stories about the teins so maybe a bit more homework required.plus the set ive seen were purchased, not used and up for £95.
thankyou for the reply mate.some good feedback.was unsure of the answers i was gonna get due to conflicting reviews on the net.
If your only concerned about the arch gap have you considered fitting 235/45/17 tyres, There perfect for the widetrack 17'' wheel and close up the tyre to arch gap a fair bit.
