Looking for some suggestions,

I want to raise my ride height a tad however the locking ring in the coilover just won't budge.

Is there a simple knack to freeing them off, soaked it with penetrating fluid and having no luck..

I've had to put a 1/2 extension into one of the groves and give it a knock with a hammer that usually breaks at free,
Don't use a chisel or screwdriver tho!
Once there loose give all the threads a good clean out and re apply some copper slip to prevent it happening again.
