Default Hsd suspension need help please

Hey guys i have been trying to resolve this issue forever. The bottom adjuster on my hsd coils in the front end are sittin close to cv boot and mechanic said any lower you will rip through the cv boot. Currently i got noticeable wheel gap in front compared to the rear, my rear end is rolled and fitment is perfect, i am frankly disapointed because i want to go lower and thought this suspension would do that. Is there anyway around this? Droop set ups or changing the preload??? Any help would be appreciated thank you. All i want is 5mm more drop... And its perfect , dont want to spend another 2grand on coils.. Thanks guys! Btw its a 2006 wrx

How low have you gone to get in that situation, You need a gap to account for the roads and suspension travel, The front end is a lot heavier than the rear.

HSD owner here on a gc8, never had a problem with it not getting low enough, if anything i had it raised. could indeed be that your preload is set to high.

So what should i do? Find out if im running soft or hard, will softer allow for more drop? Also can the bottom damper screw up more?

Never seen that issue before, a few of my mates blobs are on HSD's and they're very low with no issues at all.....

You could always remove one of the locking collars and lock the spring seat against the bottom mounting.... that will give you an extra 5-6mm I would imagine. Or as said above....check the preload. You don't want the spring to be under any tension - it just needs to be held captive when at full droop.
