Hi guys,

In the process of changing the rear springs on my bc coilovers. I can't seem to undo the centre nut on the top mount 17mm ? Seems to be so tight, does anyone have any tips for getting this undone please?

Impact wrench ?

 

Impact socket on a breaker bar. Mine were the same, took some effort to get them off.

I've used a carver clamp and clamped the insert as close as I can to the top mount to stop it from turning (make sure you wrap tape around the insert to avoid damage first) I use a 24v impact gun to undo the nut on the top mount, a ratchet will also work fine too.
