What is the standard blobeye wrx suspension like?

Since buying my car (54 plate wrx) ive always thought the suspension was very harsh so thinking of putting standard suspension on it, just wondering can anyone tell me if its a good idea or not please?

i want something softer than what i have now bud but dont want it silly soft, what is a god setup please?
