Default Geo settings/hubcentric spacers

I've recently had 15mm hubcentric spacers fitted as my wheels didn't clear my new brakes.

How will pushing the wheel out affect geting a geo set up?

Can i just use the standard wheel alignment?

Car is 1998 Type R and I normally use the P1 settings (set up with a Hunter alignment machine)

Hi there

Personally I would have car checked at least if its possible on Hunter machine and settings depends on yours preference there

Hubcentric spacers should be OK too for track use or spirited driving on B-roads,friend run Eibach Hubcentric on his track car without the issue

Thanks,Jura

Cheers Jura

I will speak to the guy tomorrow whilst it's being done to see what he recommends as I know bugger all about geo setting/suspension etc (much overlooked and underrated with the quest for power seemingly more important) ...and spirited B road driving is what I hope to do

Hmm, I think I'm going 15spaced too at some stage. I fancy the brembo setup front and rear on my type r after I sort the handling.

I cant see why the geo settings would be any different to be honest. Its only the track width of the car changing so all measurements relating to everything else would be setup up the same. I suppose another way of thinking about it is that the geo settings aren't offset specific.

If I'm wrong though I like to know why as I don't want to pay twice for my setup.

Hi there

What I know,if you will be adding only spacers and you will be not touching the camber/toe or anything what is on suspension side you don't need to have get done wheel alignment, but I would at least have this check'd,you never know

Thanks,Jura
